On December 11–12, 2026, the Indo-Canadian community gathers at the iconic Rogers Centre, in the shadow of the CN Tower, for a historic celebration of the friendship between our two nations.
In the spirit of the grand community receptions hosted across Australia and beyond, Toronto now takes its turn on the world stage — an evening of warmth, colour and unity, honouring the deep bonds between India and Canada.
Thousands of community members, leaders and families will come together for a reception unlike any Canada has seen: a celebration of shared democratic values, of the contributions of the Indian diaspora, and of a partnership that continues to grow stronger with every generation.
Further details — including the full programme, guest guidelines and ticketing information — will be announced in the coming weeks. We invite you to register your interest below and be the first to know.
At the water's edge in the heart of the city, beside the CN Tower — Canada's most storied gathering place awaits.
The Rogers Centre — home to Canada's largest celebrations — opens its doors to the community this December. With the CN Tower lighting the skyline beside it, no stage in the country is more fitting for an evening honouring the India–Canada friendship.
This reception is organized by the Canada India Friendship Foundation — a dedicated group of community organizations, volunteers and leaders from across the Greater Toronto Area, coming together to welcome the Prime Minister of India to Canada.
Programme announcements, ticketing and guest guidelines will be shared with our registered community first. Leave your email and we will keep you posted.
